Motherhood is hard! It’s a huge life transition!
In fact, it’s so much harder than you ever imagined it would be. We don’t talk enough about how hard it is. I’ve been where you are and I was so hard on myself. If only I had known that 85% of women feel distressed during or after pregnancy. Motherhood is not realistically portrayed in the media and the messages Moms receive sets us up for failure. It’s normal and valid to feel ALL the emotions. We’re not supposed to have all of the answers. Guess what?—you’re STILL a good Mom.
My hope is that all Moms know the importance of prioritizing mental health. There is a direct correlation between your happiness and your baby’s well being. Ignoring your own needs will not benefit anyone in the long run. In sessions with me, you’ll learn how to prioritize your own needs—mental and physical health, mood, happiness, etc. We’ll discuss fears, doubts and any worries you have.
It’s okay to not be okay. We’ll get you back on track.
