Get to Know Stacey Killam

Stacey Killam is a mental health therapist specializing in anxiety, intrusive thoughts, general stress management, self-esteem, motherhood and infertility. Using elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, Stacey believes that therapy is a collaborative journey between the therapist and client. Becoming a mother for the first time or second time (or any time!) can feel overwhelming and Stacey is here to guide you and support you through the transition.

As a mom of identical twin boys and elementary school teacher for close to 20 years, Stacey is very passionate about helping Moms as well as all women find themselves again. Stacey’s motherhood journey also came with challenges as she struggled with infertility for many years. When she did finally become a mother, she was thrilled but also felt alone as she navigated the transition to motherhood. Sleepless nights and anxious thoughts were a very real thing. In Stacey’s work with you, she not only brings lived experience but a deep sense of empathy.

Stacey feels your pain and sees your struggle. In working with you, her goal is to instill hope and help you feel like yourself again. You will work together to find solutions that work best for you. Stacey enjoys spending a lot of her time with family on camping adventures and travelling. She also enjoys hand lettering (calligraphy). Stacey is very passionate about uplifting others.
